The first two images to spring to my mind are Picasso's Guernica (though not technically representing the end of the world) and Hiernymous Bosch's The Last Judgment.

Hi everyone,

Not like I’m having a bad day or anything, but wondering what are your favorite images depicting “the end of world”, “Armageddon”, “Apocalypse”, etc. from art historical periods?  I am working on a montage. Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Best,
