Hello,

I'm new to special libraries, and I want to make sure we are following best
practices for InterLibrary Loan use.

I have been told that previous directors have said it is OK for ILL items
designated as "in library use" to be used anywhere in the museum building,
not just in the library space. The idea being that a museum is already a
secure location with proper materials handling procedures as a standard.

Is this correct, or should I be restricting those items to our Reading Room
only?

Thanks,
Violet
