Dear Artist Files SIG members (and all potentially interested colleagues),
I'm writing with a quick New Year update for the SIG. First, we have a new blog post,
"Are paper files obsolete?" from Janice Anderson at CWAHI - possibly a conversation starter? Secondly, the SIG now has a
Group set up on Commons, and it's still a bit quiet and underpopulated, so I encourage interested ARLIS/NA members to
join.
Finally, Freyja Catton has stepped down as SIG co-coordinator. I would like to thank Freyja for his collaboration and contributions to the SIG, which included substantial work on the website following its migration into Commons. If there is anyone interested
in learning about the co-coordinator role in anticipation of the next cycle of ARLIS volunteer appointments, please be in touch!
