Dear colleagues,

The Walker Art Center library is pleased to share its recently completed collection of videos documenting artists' books in action<https://vimeo.com/showcase/10509747>.

A selection of 100 artists' books from the Rosemary Furtak Artist Book Collection were chosen based on complexity and/or novelty of the book structure.
Each were recorded being opened, read, and closed to demonstrate how they move. In an effort to provide greater accessibility to this collection, we have made each of the roughly 60-second videos publicly accessible here: https://vimeo.com/showcase/10509747.
A list of records from the library catalog may be found here: https://library.walkerart.org/cgi-bin/koha/opac-shelves.pl?op=view&shelfnumber=106&sortfield=title
This project was supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Finally, images of the complete Furtak Collection may be browsed here: https://walkerart.org/collections/browse?cq=lib&page=2.

Happy browsing,
Jennifer
