There is less than a month to go until the Visual Resources Association (VRA) 2023 Conference. Register now to join us September 26-28 either in person in San Antonio or remotely! All registrants will receive Zoom links and have access to a message board for discussion and networking.

 

The VRA is a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to furthering research and education in the field of image management within the educational, cultural heritage, and commercial environments. Check out the Conference Program on Sched for a preview. Session topics include imaging, intellectual property, censorship, critical cataloging, metadata standards, online collections, and classroom technologies.

 

Our programming also includes two tour options for in-person attendees: a Black History River Boat Tour led by the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (separate registration required) and tour showcasing the photo collections of UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures.
