The 2023 ARLIS-SE chapter meeting is October 18-20 on Western Carolina University’s campus in Cullowhee, NC. More information on the meeting, including possible excursions in the area, is forthcoming, but I wanted to share the hotel info and group rate now.

 

Our official hotel is the Blue Ridge Inn, located in downtown Sylva. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, breweries, and bars.

--The group rate is $120/night. We have a block of 20 rooms available at this rate.

--The period for the rate is October 17^th-20^th. Everyone will need to check out on the 20^th, the last day of the conference. (We have a home football game that weekend, thus the Friday checkout.)

**Please note: The rate is good through the end of August.**

 

I will send out more information on the area later this month, including alternate hotels and airport info. Be on the lookout for our call for presentations for the meeting.

One more thing--October is prime leaf-peeper season here in Western North Carolina, so the views from pretty much everywhere should be outstanding. In case you needed another reason to attend.
