Dear Colleagues, 

I am sharing the sad news that Nadene Byrne, former Director of the John M. Flaxman Library (1979-1995), passed away on June 6. Here is a link to her obituary: https://legacy.suntimes.com/us/obituaries/chicagosuntimes/name/nadene-byrne-obituary?id=52238236

While I never had a chance to meet Nadene, I know she was an active member of ARLIS/NA and dedicated to the field of art librarianship.
