ARLIS/NA actively seeks both informal and official collaborative relationships with other arts and information organizations to further the goals of art information professionals. The society encourages its members to share information from other professional organizations and to convey related ARLIS/NA information to peers at our affiliated organizations.

We are seeking liaisons to the following organizations. If you are a member of any of the following and would be willing to act as ARLIS/NA’s liaison, please complete this brief form:

·       American Alliance of Museums (AAM)

·       American Library Association (ALA)  Committee on Cataloging: Description and Access (CC:DA) -- special liaison of the Cataloging Advisory Committee and  appointed by Cataloging Advisory Committee Chair

·       American Library Association (ALA) MARC Advisory Committee (MAC) -- special liaison of the Cataloging Advisory Committee and  appointed by Cataloging Advisory Committee Chair

·       American Library Association Office of Diversity

·       College Art Association (CAA)

·       Digital Library Federation (DLF)

·       Museum Computer Network (MCN)

·       Special Libraries Association (SLA)

Liaisons provide an important service to ARLIS/NA by updating members and the board of relevant news and initiatives emanating from these other organizations. Please see ARLIS/NA Policy Manual, section R for more details.
