At Getty Digital, we're re-imagining how we can use data, software, and systems to provide a deeply connected and consistent experience for staff, scholars, researchers, and enthusiasts as they explore the rich and complex information held across the organization.
The Collection & Content Management Systems (CCMS) team within Getty Digital assists Getty Programs and departments through the administration of a suite of data management systems, technical project management, and digital preservation
activities. We are looking for an energetic, experienced, and user-centered professional to join the CCMS team as an IT Project Manager. Reporting to the Assistant Director of CCMS, the position will manage data migrations from legacy platforms into new or
existing systems of record, manage our digital asset metadata governance initiative for our DAM system (OpenText Media Management - OTMM), and serve as a backup application manager for TMS.
The incumbent will join the CCMS team, which includes ten staff members: seven project/application managers, two software engineers, and one administrative assistant. This position works closely with CCMS team members–particularly
the OTMM and TMS application manager–Getty Digital colleagues, and content-focused teams from across the organization.
This is an opportunity for an information professional and project manager with a deep interest in cultural heritage, digital asset management, metadata, data management processes, systems, and documentation. Desired candidates
will be able to manage a diverse portfolio of projects and enjoy technical work and interacting directly with stakeholders. Excellent communication and people skills, attention to detail, the ability to work with little oversight, and a desire to continuously
learn and expand their skill set is a must.
Getty, one of the most prestigious cultural heritage organizations in the world, is dedicated to furthering the study of the history of art, advancing conservation practice, and promoting public knowledge and appreciation of
art. Our dynamic and beautiful campus is filled with art, archives and special collections, and a world-class research library. We offer paid vacation, every other Friday off, excellent benefits, and a strong dedication to balancing work and personal life.
