Subject: RE: Call for volunteers/nominees: Mid-Atlantic Vice Chair and Treasurer
Hello local ARLIS colleagues,
Just a reminder—there are two great opportunities to get more involved with ARLIS on the local level, and by extension, ARLIS/NA!
As Vice Chair or as Treasurer, you can continue the good work of our group as we’ve navigated Covid-era challenges. But as shown by our fantastic in-person meeting earlier
this month, there is enthusiasm for more expert presentations, more tours, and more opportunities to get together, so there is lots of room to increase engagement.
And as we have not yet received any nominations, I want to encourage those who may be on the fence to reach out with any questions. It has been a valuable experience for
me personally, and I am happy to talk more about that one on one.
Thank you,
~Anne

This is a three year position, and the Vice Chair will automatically assume the position of Chair in their second year of service followed by a concluding year
as Immediate Past Chair.
Vice Chair duties are as follows:
Treasurer (2 years)
The Treasurer shall be responsible for all documents and correspondence regarding membership and handle all financial accounts of the Chapter. The Treasurer
will also oversee membership accounts, new and renewals. The Treasurer will serve a term of two years.
Eligibility
To qualify for these positions, one must be 2022/2023 members of the chapter and the society. The elected officers should make every effort to attend the society’s
annual conference. Students are also eligible to serve (keeping in mind the three year term of service).
