A close colleague has discovered a copy of William Morris’s copy of Marx’s Capital and is working to trace the book’s provenance.   He has been able to trace the book’s whereabouts between 1985 and the present, but it remains a mystery as to where it might have been from 1898 to 1985,   The current bookseller does not have that information.  He’d like to trace the book's ownership after 1898, when it was sold at auction by Sotheby's to "Edmunds" (See "The Library of William Morris" https://williammorrislibrary.wordpress.com/2022/03/18/%c2%b6-marx-capital-1887/
