The Robert B. Haas Family Arts Library at Yale seeks a library liaison for the David Geffen School of Drama and the Department of Theater and Performance Studies. Responsibilities include
collection development, instruction, reference, and outreach. Working collaboratively with Arts colleagues, this position also supports teaching, learning, research, and creative activities across the art and design disciplines through reference and instructional
services. Supports the instruction needs for the Department of Art History. With the director and four other Arts librarians, participates in overall Arts Library planning and helps to foster a creative, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment. Participates
in library system-wide planning, committees, and work groups, and engages in campus, regional and national professional organizations, and collaborative activities. Monitors developments and best practices elsewhere to help ensure the excellence of Yale's
collections and research support services.

Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited Library school and an undergraduate or advanced degree in the visual arts/design, art history, architecture, or drama/theater. Required Skill/Ability 1:
Knowledge of drama, theater studies, and dance reference sources, both print and online, as well as general art and design reference sources.

Knowledge of collection development best practices and best practices for library instruction.
Required Skill/Ability 3:
Demonstrated ability to provide public services, instruction, and research support for these areas. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications and analytical ability.
