As architecture libraries recover shelf space, it can be painful to see old magazines thrown away, even if they’ve not been accessed for decades. The USModernist Library can help. So far, libraries have shipped us over a million pages, bringing to the total up to over four million pages. For example, we just added 80 years of AIA Wisconsin and 40 years of AIA Los Angeles.
Here are the magazines and issues we need. We pay shipping and the world gets to have searchable, downloadable content, often for the first time.
We’re particularly looking for old AIA publications from the 1920’s and 1930’s.
