Dear ARLIS/NA Colleagues, I hope you are as excited as I am to participate in the Society’s 50 th Anniversary Conference in Chicago that will begin on April 4th . Whether you are in attendance at our first in-person meeting conference in three years or will participate via online group meeting and recorded sessions, it will be a landmark conference where the strides we have made as art information professionals over the past fifty years and our plans for future endeavors will be much in evidence. One of these guideposts for the future is our golden anniversary campaign, the $50K for 50 Years Fund <https://www.arlisna.org/products/50k-for-50-years-fund>. The $50K for 50 Years Fund will be the first step in creating an endowment that will help diversify our profession through fellowships and internships for early career librarians of color in partnership with our local chapters. The Society has raised almost $40,000 towards our goal and it would be incredible to announce at the annual Membership Meeting that we have met our target. Your donations to the campaign are fully tax deductible and will enroll you in the Society Circle for 2022.
