Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Northwest Chapter Executive Committee, I am pleased to share with you that the recipient of the 2022 ARLIS/NA Northwest Chapter Conference Travel Award is Emma Metcalfe Hurst. Congratulations Emma! The award will assist
in covering a portion of the cost to attend the upcoming annual conference.
Emma is a current MASLIS graduate student at the UBC School of Information and it will be her first time attending an ARLIS/NA annual conference in-person. In addition, Emma will be presenting a lightning talk titled, "Coming Out of Chaos:
A Vancouver Dance Story - Community Archives, Oral History, & Networks of Archival Support." We look forward to sharing Emma's report, which will be posted on the Northwest Chapter website following the conference.
