Hello collective wisdom,
I have an undergraduate student who is working on a paper on a public sculpture in Gwangju Memorial Park in South Korea. (photo below my signature) Is anyone here able to identify the title or artist? The student has written directly to the archive devoted to the 5.18 uprising, but would love other leads while she waits for a reply. I’m not coming up with much. She learned about the existence of the sculpture in the novel Human Acts by Han Kang. Her paper is about the experience of women and families in the 5.18 uprising.
Thanks very much,
Kate
