Call for Proposals: 2021 Teaching SIG Winter Lightning Talks

In response to interest from our members and the overwhelming success of
last year’s lightning talks, the Teaching SIG is asking for proposals for
this year’s Winter Lightning Talks, to be held on *Friday, December 10th,
2021 at 4pm EST.*

This year, our topic is teaching visual literacy in the library classroom.
If you engage with the topic at all, and especially if you engage with the
new draft Framework for Visual Literacy in Higher Education
<https://acrlvltf.org/draft-2/>, please consider sending in a proposal!

We ask that proposals for these five-minute talks be no more than 250
words. Please submit your proposals to both Eva and Anna at
[log in to unmask] and [log in to unmask] by *Tuesday, November 16th, 2021*.
We will review proposals promptly, and notify accepted talks no later than
Monday, November 29th, 2021.

Thanks, all!

Anna & Eva
