From the Getty Vocabulary Program, we send greetings and are hopeful that you are well. In the Getty Vocabulary Program (GVP), we are back working in the office part time. The Getty Center and Villa are open to the public.

 

In the past quarter we have preprocessed and loaded the remaining backlogged contributions to the Vocabularies. The GVP is now processing and making these records available in batches with each month’s publication, including AAT terms and other records for the Florentine Codex initiative, 70,000 records from the Built Works Registry in CONA, 20,000 artists from the Belvedere Museum, RKD records in ULAN, Tobunken artist records in ULAN, Portuguese translations from CVAA Brazil and the GVP graduate intern, among others. New contributions will be prioritized to further our mission and strategic plan, which strives to make the Vocabularies more diverse and inclusive.
