as you’d like, and will have access to recordings of sessions you may have missed.
For non-members, Standard Registration includes a 1-year MCN membership and a year-round space to connect, share ideas, tips, job postings, and much more!

MCN is actively working to make sure all our endeavors reflect the diversity within the community. To that end, we are starting to collect a minimal amount of demographics
information on our members, and within activities such as proposals, attending conferences, etc. If you can spare 2 minutes (max), we would appreciate your participation!

If the pandemic has brought one idea to light since it began in 2020, it’s this: people matter most.
MCN Human Centered Design SIG Chairs, Cathy Sigmond and Madhav Tankha, look ahead through a more human-centered lens in this month's SIG Corner blog.

Linked data is a way of structuring data so that it can be connected to data from other sources and queried all together. For museums, this discussion often comes
up regarding collections data: how can different cultural heritage institutions structure their data so that someone could ask a question of multiple museum databases at the same time? “Show me all the museums with works made by Rebecca Belmore” for example.
This month's MCN Insights submission is written by Erin
Canning, Ontology Systems Analyst at LINCS (Linked Infrastructure for Networked Cultural Scholarship).
