Hey ARLIS!
I have a reference question this morning about whether or not there is a directory of museums that have existed in the United States. The student is looking specifically for museums from 1900-1920 (Progressive
Era). IMLS has current data for museums, and I also steered her toward some databases and a book about museums in that era, but I’m wondering if such as list or directory exists I could send her to. It doesn’t look like AAM has one. Many thanks for any assistance!
