Background:
Based on recommendations from the Strategic Directions Committe, the Strategic Planning Refresh Task Force was created by the board and tasked with suggesting the composition
of a new group and a revised process to improve ARLIS/NA's strategic planning activities. The improvements are intended to provide greater connectivity between the executive board, the strategic planning body, and strategic planning.
Project deliverables:
- Complete an environmental scan
- Gather feedback from members and executive board
- Develop mission and vision statements
- Prepare, revise, and finalize strategic plan
- Share strategic priorities with members, stakeholders, and executive board
- Develop operational (implementation) plan
