FYI, I have just been made aware of the death of an important woman architect and designer from India (who trained at Taliesin West):
Gira Sarabhai, Indian architect and designer, and a leader in raising awareness of the diversity of Indian textile traditions who launched the pioneering Journal of Indian Textile History and helped establish the Calico Museum of Textiles (and its trail-blazing publications) as well as the National Institute of Design in Ahmadabad, and the Sarabhai Foundation, among many other accomplishments.
