Dear ARLIS,

For a large digitization and transcription project, I wanted to reach out to see if anyone has ever hired a role for transcription quality control.  Transcription of digitized archival materials (OCRed but with large amounts of handwritten annotations) will be completed by an outside vendor but we are hoping to hire an internal person to conduct quality control and validate sample sizes of these.  I am looking to formulate a job description for such a role, any examples would be very useful!
