Hi Debbie:

I’m so happy for you to receive the Distinguished Service Award, though I wish it didn’t have to be a virtual award ceremony. Of course, a benefit of it being virtual is not having to be quite so concerned about what you are going to wear to the ceremony! What a wonderful capstone to your retirement from such a long and active career both within the amazing institutions in which you have worked and within ARLIS/NA!

I’m sorry we have never worked together on an ARLIS project, but I have admired you from afar. Looking forward to next Tuesday and then also to our 50^th anniversary celebration in Chicago.
