The Fashion, Textile & Costume SIG would like to invite self-nominations for the role(s) of Vice-Moderator(s) for 2021-2022. The Vice-Moderator(s) will assume the role of Moderator(s) in 2022-2023.

Moderators and Vice-Moderators perform the following duties: reach out to new members, manage the SIG blog and resources, arrange webinars on resources for researching fashion, liaise with the ARLIS board, and organize the SIG meeting at the ARLIS conference. 

Moderating is a great way to connect with others in librarianship and enhance leadership skills—particularly for those new to the profession, including students. It’s fun and requires only a modest time commitment! Attendance of the conferences is beneficial, but not mandatory.

The position of Vice-Moderator can be served by one person or by two Co-Vice Moderators. The term would start at our Annual Business Meeting at the end of April.
