The National College of Librarians (CNB) presents to the library community in Mexico a series of talks on the dynamics and practices of contemporary publishing that take place in the margins or outside the conventional circuits of the publishing industry. The event will share panoramas of local scenarios in different parts of Latin America, bringing together the confluence of visions, concerns and ways of producing communities and knowledge gathered in the independent and self-managed publishing sphere. The following axes are considered as the starting points for the development of the talks in which young publishers and other agents that are part of the emerging community of independent publishing in Mexico and elsewhere in Latin America will participate:- Beyond bibliology: panoramas and contemporary concepts for thinking about publishing.- Out of the podium: publishing as an act of resistance.- Logotopías: Socialization, spaces and reading experiences.- Neither marginal, nor conventional: independent publishing as an information resource.
