Greetings! The ARLIS/NA Diversity and Inclusion Committee is excited to share with you a new resource to help promote and strengthen the incorporation of equity, diversity, inclusion, and social justice (EDISJ) within the context of art librarianship: the Diversity Toolkit <https://arlisdivcom.wordpress.com/diversity-toolkit/>. Community members at last year's Diversity Forum at the virtual ARLIS/NA annual conference expressed a desire for a resource that would promote EDISJ resources and more importantly, address the lack of racial and ethnic diversity and perspectives in art libraries (and libraries overall). A subcommittee came together to gather resources that would offer practice solutions to improve recruitment and retention of Black, Indigenous, and person of color staff, as well as tips for creating inclusive workspaces and collections.
