Expand your understanding of book history during a Rare Book School course this summer. We are now accepting applications for our intensive courses on the history of manuscript, print, and digital materials.

Among our diverse array of online courses, we are pleased to offer several pertinent to those involved in the study of American book history, rare books, and manuscripts:

-G-85c: Why Black Bibliography Matters, taught by Kinohi Nishikawa (6 hours)
-H-95a: Reading Publishers’ Archives for the Study of the American Book, taught by Michael Winship (22 hours)
-H-135c: Key Moments in the History of the Book in the Antebellum United States, taught by James Green and Michael Winship (6 hours)
-H-180c: Six Degrees of Phillis Wheatley, taught by Tara Bynum (6 hours)

To be considered in the first round of admissions decisions, course applications should be submitted no later than March 8. 

Applications received after March 8 will be reviewed on a rolling basis, however, please note that some classes do reach capacity during the first round of admissions.
