Good Morning Colleagues, As a reminder, we are now accepting paper proposals for the New Voices in the Profession session at the 2021 ARLIS/NA virtual conference. The call for papers is below in both English and French (scroll down). We look forward to hearing from you! Paper proposals for the New Voices in the Profession session at the 2021 ARLIS/NA virtual conference (May 11-13) are now being accepted! New Voices in the Profession showcases exceptional academic work by students and new professionals (under 5 years post MLS). Paper topics should relate strongly to Art and/or Visual Resources Librarianship, but also digital library projects, archives, library instruction, reference and the changing nature of libraries, among other topics. Papers that relate to the conference theme “Convergence = Créativité + Collaboration” and highlight art in Montreal, convergence of creativity and collaboration in librarianship, or new insights within the field will be given special consideration. Papers will be selected by representatives from ArLiSNAP and the ARLIS/NA Professional Development Committee. Les sujets des communications doivent être liés à la bibliothéconomie en art et en ressources visuelles, aux projets de bibliothèques numériques, aux archives, à l'enseignement en bibliothéconomie, au travail de référence et à l’évolution des bibliothèques, entre autres. Les communications qui se rapportent au thème de la conférence « Convergence = Créativité + Collaboration » et qui mettent en évidence l'art à Montréal, la convergence de la créativité et de la collaboration en bibliothéconomie, ou les nouvelles perspectives dans ce domaine recevront une attention spéciale.
