About the ARLIS/NA Auction Catalogs SIG
The Auction
Catalogs SIG serves as a forum for discussion on all things auction catalog-related – acquiring, cataloging, archiving and providing access to print, digitized, and born digital auction catalogs and the related materials that
document auction sales. Current topics of interest to the group include: using emerging technology for capturing and archiving online catalogs, cooperative projects (such as the shared price list project for archiving online price lists), and best practices
for using the SCIPIO database and for applying RDA to cataloging auction catalogs and related materials.
