Good morning ARLIS/NA,

Exhibitions are increasingly popular not only in art libraries, but also archives and organizations with special collections. While there is literature on the subject and issues relating to producing and staging exhibitions, there are no industry-wide standards published that are dedicated to library exhibitions. The Exhibitions SIG is working towards creating best practice standards that will fill the current service gap in our profession. ARLIS/NA will be the first professional association of libraries in North America to offer standards specifically for exhibitions in libraries.

The Task Force has created a survey<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSckBOeZZHl9RvDN6kpB6LSPkX1riD6NvfrZqQmry5l31QLrXw/viewform> to gather information that will contribute toward the development of the standards. We hope you will consider participating in the survey. All responses will remain anonymous. The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Deadline to complete the survey is December 16, 2020.

Thank you for your time and contributions!
