Announcing the Certificate in Disability Access and Inclusion https://libraryjuiceacademy.com/certificate/disability-access-and-inclusion/ This certificate program will develop your understanding of accessibility and disability, and provide you with practices to proactively include and equitably serve patrons and staff with a range of disabilities. Courses offer a range of approaches to disability and accessibility, giving you a firm grounding in these complex concepts. Practical skills cover areas of library work including web design, patron interactions, outreach and programming, instruction, designing spaces, supervision, and more. As a whole, these courses give you the intellectual tools to imagine what accessibility and inclusion mean in your area of library work and the practical tools to implement that vision. The courses in the certificate grouping work as standalone courses as well, and need not be taken towards a certificate. For the certificate, the courses may be taken in any order; none have prerequisites. If you have previously taken any of the courses below and want them to count towards the certificate, let us know and we will maintain a record for you.
