Jim Heimann and possibly others published (Taschen) a series on print advertisements, with each volume covering the 20th century by decade.  I don’t know the exact range of decades, but the series may extend into coverage of the 2000s.
Not sure how extents they cover medical ads, but perhaps worth a look.

The New York Public Library Picture Collection has advertisements from the '90s and 2000s under the subjects of Advertisements - Medicinal Products, Medicines, Drugs, and Pharmacy. These have not been digitized, but we are happy to search the files for specific requests and send a scan.

Hello Everyone,

I'm hoping someone might be able to give me some advice on this. I have a professor who is looking for advertisements of certain medications that were published in popular magazines in the '90s and 2000s. I'm having a lot of trouble finding anything and would appreciate any tips. Note; these are fairly recent ads, so they won't be in those vintage databases that are available online.
