Hello all,

The Artist Files Special Interest Group is in a search of a Co-Coordinator for 2020-21. If there is someone out there interested in learning more about artist file collections, is passionate about them, or actively working with them at their institution, I could use your help in moving the group forward.

I would like to thank Sam Duncan for his three years of hard work and dedication to the SIG, and his significant and ongoing work on the online Artist File Directory, "Artist Files Revealed."

The SIG's mission statement: The Artist Files Special Interest Group recognizes the unique characteristics and research value of artist files (collections of small-sized documents of various types related to the visual arts that are collected and arranged for the purpose of research) and serves as a professional forum for advancing all aspects of their management, including access, acquisition, cataloging, digitization, preservation, promotion and scholarship.
