Hello art librarians,

 

I’m looking for a review of a sculpture that Augusta Savage exhibited in Paris in 1931. All I know is that the review appeared in the European edition of the New York Herald Tribune (now the International Herald Tribune). It could have been an exhibition of the Salon du Printemps, or the Salon du Mai, OR the Société des Artistes Français.

 

We don’t have access to Gale’s International Herald Tribune Historical Archive 1887-2013 at the Smithsonian, but if your institution subscribes, could you help with this semi-obscure reference?
