Please join us for a book arts presentation by Brad Freeman, founding editor-in-chief of The Journal of Artists’ Books (JAB), in the Jones Room of Woodruff Library at Emory University. Brad will discuss his work with Ruth Laxson on her final artist’s book at Nexus Press, A Hundred Years of: Lex Flex. Brad will also describe his own work, the decades publishing The Journal of Artists’ Books, and his history working with book artists.

This event is open to the public, March 31st, 4-6pm with reception.

 

Following Brad’s presentation will be a two-day workshop on April 1-2 where students will create content and produce small editions of artist books. Attendees will trade copies of their editions, and everyone will leave with a full set of the class-produced artists’ books.

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Southeast Regional Conservation Association (SERCA). Sign-up early! Registration is limited to first-come, first-served.
