The ARLIS Texas-Mexico Chapter is pleased to award this year’s travel award to Lauren Haberstock! This $500 award will support Lauren’s attendance at the ARLIS/NA 48th annual conference in St. Louis, Missouri from April 20-24,
2020.
Lauren recently graduated with her MLIS from the University of Arizona School of Information and will be a first time ARLIS/NA Conference Attendee. She will be presenting her paper “Participatory Description: Decolonizing Descriptive Methodologies in Archives”
as a part of the New Voices in the Profession panel, and is the co-conference liaison for ArLiSNAP.
We are delighted to welcome Lauren as a new member of the Texas-Mexico chapter and we hope she has a wonderful first ARLIS! The Lois Swan Jones Committee would like to thank all of the ARLIS Texas-Mexico Chapter members who have helped make the award possible.
