ARLIS/NA members-

 

I am pleased to announce the appointment of the 2020-2021 ARLIS/NA committee chairs and affiliate organization liaisons. Thank you to the applicants, the outgoing committee chairs, affiliated organization liaisons, the board liaisons, and all those who took part in the volunteer application process, and thank you to the members who have agreed to serve in these roles.

Please note:

• Appointments for the 2020 awards subcommittees will be made within the next couple months due to the different timeline and work schedule of these committees.
• The professional development committee’s education subcommittee is still seeking new members. If you are interested in submitting an application for this committee please complete this form before February 21, 2020.

Over the last several years we have been working towards making the volunteer application process for committee chairs, committee members, and affiliated organization liaisons a clear and equitable process. As an organization, ARLIS/NA continues to promote transparency and support current and aspiring leaders. If you are interested in serving on a committee and will be at the conference in St. Louis in April, I encourage you to attend the open committee meeting of your choice (The Distinguished Service Award and Nominating committee meetings are by invitation only). You’ll find meeting times and locations in the 2020 conference schedule.
