Hello, all,

A student is working on American-style gated community developments in the Ukraine that are called cottage communities.  She is trying to find images of housing or descriptions of housing in which the middle classes lived after the fall of the Soviet Union and before this recent trend began in about 2010.  Do any of you work on Ukrainian architecture that would include housing or domestic architecture from this time period?  Or you do know of anyone she can contact?  If you can help her, would you let me know and I'll put you in touch with each other?

She has used Google Maps at the street level to view Ukrainian cities, but she doesn't know where the middle classes would have lived.  We haven't had any luck finding pictorial works that include domestic architecture.

Thanks so much.

Peggy
