ARLIS/NA Southern California Chapter: Call for Nominations for Vice-Chair/Chair Elect & Web Editor

 

Greetings!

The ARLIS/SC Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for the position of Vice-Chair/Chair Elect  and Web Editor. The Vice-Chair/Chair Elect position will commence beginning January 1, 2020. The Web Editor position will commence upon acceptance. Anyone interested in serving can self-nominate; you may also submit the name of an ARLIS/SC colleague to the Nominating Committee.

·         The Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect shall act as executive officer in the event the Chair is unable to serve, shall act as program chair, and shall be responsible for the sending of all announcements of meetings to the membership.
Position Duration: 3 years (1 year as Vice-Chair; 1 year as Chair; 1 year as Immediate Past-Chair)

·         The Web Editor is responsible for managing all aspects of the Chapter’s website, newsletter, and social media platforms, and establish new avenues of communication when required.
Position Duration: Voluntary, non-elected positon

·         Web Editor: Pease send your nominations to [log in to unmask]  no later than November 1, 2019. Position is open until filled.

·         Vice-Chair/Chair Elect: Please send your nominations to [log in to unmask] by December 1, 2019.

 

There are many benefits to serving! Officers gain valuable leadership experience while contributing towards ensuring that ARLIS/NA Southern California Chapter meets the professional needs of art and architecture librarians and visual resources professionals and students in our region.
