Dear Colleagues The Development Committee has two unexpected vacancies and is looking for members of the Society who would like to assist with this crucial endeavor. My apologies for the lateness of this message. The Development Committee is not only responsible for ARLIS/NA fundraising through grant writing, the Society Circle, and other instruments. DevCom also oversees fundraising for the annual conference. This volunteer assignment has a moderate workload that intensifies in advance of the annual conference but in general remains constant. Members of the committee must attend monthly conference calls, and can take on committee work assignments that involve research, letter writing, and donor development. It would be beneficial (but not required) for applicants to have some background in fundraising at their home institutions or in their personal life.
