Hi Kathy,

We started having Community (MICA staff, student, faculty, and alumni)
shows each fall and spring last year. It's been great! Here's what we
require for artwork to be in the library
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xjLppG-l1ppapiMUyH-yP_gRgP0cVNsI6QvzPW3b6aQ/edit?usp=sharing>.

We also have checklists for planning those events, including a short rubric
to help people with selection of the submissions.

We also get one-off requests for students to display their works in the
library throughout the year which have to follow the same guidelines but
are up for much shorter periods. MICA does have an art collection but it is
historical and not in my department--I love that we get to have a mixture
of work from a variety of people by having an exhibition. But, we're an art
school so your mileage may vary.

Best,

Heather
