Subject: [ARLIS-L] ARLIS 2020 Conference: Call for Poster Proposals

The Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) will hold its 48th annual conference, Preserve, Enhance, Reimagine, in St. Louis, April 20-25, 2020. The Conference Program Committee invites ARLIS/NA members and affiliates to develop ideas for posters that highlight how ARLIS/NA professionals use, reflect, and build upon our core values and practices to inform our future.

The committee welcomes proposals on all topics and is particularly interested in the following subjects:

  *   Advocacy, social justice, public policy, and activism
  *   Alternative publications (artist books, graphic novels, zines, etc.)
  *   Archives, rare books, and special collections
  *   Cataloging and metadata
  *   Collection development & management
  *   Critical librarianship
  *   Design thinking and visual thinking strategies
  *   Digital humanities and digitization
  *   Diversity, equity, & inclusion
  *   Fair use & copyright
  *   Leadership & management
  *   Local art and architecture
  *   Outreach and programming
  *   Scholarly communication, including scholarly reputation and impact, publishing support, and information privilege
  *   Visual literacy, information literacy, teaching and pedagogical practices
