ARLIS/NA Community,
Material Order is very excited to announce the launch of
Material Order SEARCH,
the shared online materials catalog that allows users to search the material collections of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD), Parsons School of Design, and the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
This work was funded and led by the
Material Order consortium in collaboration with CollectionSpace and
LYRASIS as part of an overall interest in the development of a public browser service for CollectionSpace. Material Order has worked with CollectionSpace and LYRASIS since 2016 to develop the Design Materials Profile, which is used by member institutions
to manage shared and institutional data and images.
Please feel free to refer your community members to this openly available resource.
