Error during command authentication.

Hi everyone – flash from the past here.  I’ve received a typewritten letter from a man in a small Missouri town asking for information on a Juanita Disney.  He says that she did sculptures of babies, and he even saw something on TV about her once.  I completely struck out online, and with Art Full-Text and AskART.  I checked our local artists files (although the town is not really in the greater STL area), plus all the old stand-bys of yesteryear such as the Artists Biographies Master Index, our old friend Peter Falk’s Who Was Who in American Art, the latest Benezit, the Index volume of the Dictionary of Art, and some reference books on women artists. 

 

Perhaps she’s in someone else’s local artists files, or perhaps he has not remembered the name correctly.
