We are delighted to announce that the reclassification and barcoding project at the Worcester Art Museum Library is completed and we are open again to the public and the museum staff. It will be much easier for patrons to find materials and browse the shelves now that we have one streamlined system in place. The library has been closed since mid-February to complete a grant funded project to reclassify all the Dewey Decimal books into the LC system, and to bar code our entire collection in order to enable an automated circulation system. We are all very much looking forward to the increased efficiency and streamlined procedures this project enables.
