Dear Colleagues,
I am forwarding an invitation to the upcoming symposium at the Clark Art Institute as it may be of interest to many of our group (Williamstown may be a bit off the beaten path but it is lovely this time of year).

Subject: Alternative Art Histories: Future Directions in U.S. Latinx Art' at The Clark Art Institute
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to invite you to the two-day symposium I am co-organizing with Professor C. Ondine Chavoya, Alternative Art Histories: Future
Directions in U.S. Latinx Art. The event will take place at The Clark Art Institute on Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4, 2019.
The symposium will begin on Friday, May 3 at 5:00 PM with a keynote by UC Berkeley Professor Laura E. Pérez and will continue Saturday, May 4 at 9 AM with guest
speakers. We have a fantastic line up of museum curators, directors, and art historians who will focus on the aesthetic contribution of U.S. Latinx arts and how to (re)imagine art history.
Please feel free to share this invitation and be in touch ([log in to unmask]) if
you have any further questions about the symposium. Thank you in advance and hope to see you there!
The symposium is free and open to the public.
Warm regards,
--
