The Mayer Library at the Dallas Museum of Art is seeking a paid cataloging intern for the Fall 2019 semester. This position is open to students currently enrolled in a graduate library or information science
program who have an interest in pursuing the cataloging profession. This is a paid opportunity, but can also be configured for course credit or as a practicum. The intern will get experience in library cataloging and classification, improve bibliographic
search skills, and gain an understanding of museum library practices.

The Mildred R. and Frederick M. Mayer Library is the art research library of the Dallas Museum of Art. Established in 1936, the collection opened to the public in 1944 and has grown into an essential resource
