The VRA Southeast Chapter is pleased to offer a travel award to support attendance to the 2019 VRA Conference in Los Angeles, CA from March 26-29, 2019. One award of $250 will be granted to a conference attendee residing, working, or studying in the Southeast region. Applicants are not expected to be current members of the VRA or of the Southeast Chapter, however it is expected that they will become a dues-paying member of the chapter for at least one year after the award is granted (NOTE: A 1-year VRA membership is included in the cost of non-member conference registration). Preference will be given to those who do not receive full institutional funding, first-time attendees, or those who are participating in the conference as a speaker, moderator, committee member, or chapter officer.
