Dear ARLISANS,

Just a note that I am interviewing for the Library Cafe today the architectural historian Mardges Bacon on her book (below) John McAndrew's Modernist Vision: From the Vassar College Art Library to the Museum of Modern Art in New York (Princeton Architectural Press, 2018).  The book, and my library, represent an early (1935-37) innovative design art library design by an architect/scholar and teacher, and is a window into the formation of modernism in the pre-war period in the US.    The show can be accessed at broadcast time on the "listen live" link in the right column of the program website, and I will link it as a podcast after air time:  http://library-cafe.org

Cheers,

Thomas
